Thanks everyone for all the information! I think I have a better understanding of how to connect multiple devices to my S90C TV now. I'll definitely check out the TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 77" S90C TV mentioned earlier to learn more.

Yes, you can definitely connect multiple devices to a single HDMI port on your Samsung 77" S90C TV. Check out this TechReviewer article for more information: HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 77" S90C TV. It explains how you can use an HDMI switch or a device-specific adapter if needed.

That's great! Thanks for the info, but could you elaborate a bit on what these devices are and how they work?

Sure! An HDMI switch is a device that allows multiple inputs to be connected to one output, in this case, an HDMI port on your TV. It essentially acts as a selector, choosing which input source to send the video signal to.

What about device-specific adapters? Can you explain those?

I've been using a device-specific adapter with my S90C TV for a while now and it works quite well. The adapter is designed specifically for one type of device, like a PS5 or a PC, and it allows you to connect directly to the HDMI port on your TV without needing an additional switch.

That's helpful! So with an HDMI switch, I can essentially switch between multiple devices using just one HDMI cable connected to my TV?

Exactly! Just make sure that the switch is compatible with your TV and devices. Also, keep in mind that if you're running high bandwidth content or games at high resolutions, you might need a more powerful switch.

@StevesTips, for example, if you have a gaming console and a Blu-ray player connected to your TV, an HDMI switch would allow you to easily switch between the two without having to disconnect any cables. It simplifies the setup process and keeps your workspace tidy.

Another thing to consider is that some devices might require more power than a single HDMI port can provide. In such cases, you'll need an external power source for the adapter or switch.
