I just built a system with that CPU, it's running great. You can find the TDP in an article on TechReviewer What Is the TDP of the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750GE CPU?. I think it's around 35 watts base and 48 watts PPT.
Thanks for the information! That's good to know. I'm also curious about how much of a factor the TDP is when building a system. Is it very important?
The TDP can be a significant factor, especially when choosing a CPU cooler and power supply. It essentially tells you how much heat your CPU will generate at its base frequency and max boost frequency.
I agree with @Lexi2000. The TDP is crucial in determining the cooling solution you'll need. But it's not the only thing to consider; other factors like airflow and case design also play a role.
To add to what @MileHiMorrow said, the TechReviewer article What Is the TDP of the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750GE CPU? provides a detailed overview of the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750GE's TDP and PPT. It also goes into how these values affect your choice of cooler, power supply, and PC case.
Thanks for all the input! I'll definitely check out that TechReviewer article. The more I learn about building a computer, the more I realize there are so many factors to consider!
That's true, @DrFunkateer. Building a computer can be complex, but it's also really rewarding once you get everything set up and running smoothly.
Absolutely, @MileHiMorrow. It's like solving a puzzle or putting together a jigsaw. Each piece fits into place, and when you're done, you have a fully functioning system.
I couldn't agree more, guys. Building your own computer is a great feeling of accomplishment!
Well said, @Lexi2000 and @CowboysCrewLove. Here's to the joys of PC building and learning about components like the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750GE's TDP!
