@IconistSF. I've read through the article and it seems that the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler is a great option for liquid cooling. What about air coolers? Any suggestions?

I recently got the Noctua NH-D15 for my Ryzen 7 4700G, and I must say it's been fantastic! The build quality is top-notch, and it efficiently manages heat. It's definitely worth considering.

That's great to know, @Littlebitoflovely. The Noctua NH-D15 seems like a solid choice. But I'm still unsure if it can handle the Ryzen 7 4700G's peak TDP of 88 watts.

I've been using the CORSAIR H150i for about six months now, and it has been performing exceptionally well with my Ryzen 7 4700G. The cooler is quiet, efficient, and doesn't take up too much space on my motherboard or in my case.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @shemsheep. I'm considering both the Noctua NH-D15 and the CORSAIR H150i for my Ryzen 7 4700G. Any other recommendations?

In addition to the already mentioned coolers, you might want to look into open-loop cooling systems as well. They offer more flexibility in building a customized cooling setup but can be more complex to set up and require maintenance.

Interesting, @spencerjhoughton. I didn't know about open-loop cooling systems. Can you provide some examples of good open-loop coolers for the Ryzen 7 4700G?

Solution

Thanks again, @IconistSF. I'll definitely check out the article to learn more about open-loop cooling systems. Any advice on factors I should consider when choosing a CPU cooler for my Ryzen 7 4700G?

When looking for a CPU cooler, you should take into account factors such as noise levels, size, lighting, and price. You'll also want to make sure the cooler supports the AM4 socket for your Ryzen 7 4700G.

That's really helpful advice, @Littlebitoflovely. I appreciate it. I think I'm leaning towards the CORSAIR H150i or the Noctua NH-D15 based on your suggestions and my own research. Thanks everyone!

@asplundah, both of those coolers are excellent choices. Just make sure to configure your motherboard's BIOS for optimal fan speeds at specific temperatures, and you'll be good to go.

Great advice, @shemsheep. I'll do that. Thanks again for all the help!
