I'm looking for some advice on the Ryzen 7 3700X's average temperature under load. I've heard mixed things, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations based on personal use.
Ryzen 7 3700X Avg. Temp. Under Load?

@JumpSalty82 I have a Ryzen 7 3700X running in my setup and it runs surprisingly cool for what it does. However, this all depends on the cooling solution you're using. The TechReviewer article Is the Ryzen 7 3700X CPU Good for Gaming? gives a pretty comprehensive overview of AMD's Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, including its temperature under load. You might find that useful.
Yeah, my 3700X is also running cool with an AIO liquid cooler. I usually see temperatures around 60-70°C under full load. But again, it does depend on the cooling solution you're using. The CPU's architecture and design are efficient enough to handle high temperatures without thermal throttling.
@Camaro70 Thanks for sharing that link! I've been looking at different coolers for my build, so this article could be really helpful in making a decision.
@thefastestgun That's good to hear. My current cooling solution isn't the best, and I'm not sure if it'll handle the 3700X well. Think you can recommend any AIO coolers that work well with this CPU?
@chefcella Sure thing! Based on the TechReviewer article Is the Ryzen 7 3700X CPU Good for Gaming?, one of the top-rated coolers for Ryzen 7 3700X is the NZXT Kraken X63. It's a great liquid cooler, and it should be able to keep your CPU temperatures in check.
@Camaro70 That sounds like a good option! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely consider the NZXT Kraken X63 for my build.
@JumpSalty82 Glad to help! The Kraken X63 is indeed an excellent choice. My friend also recommended the Corsair H100i RGB Platinum, which also has great reviews. Both are AIO liquid coolers that should keep your 3700X nice and cool under load.
@thefastestgun Thanks for the additional suggestion! I'll check out both options and see which one fits my budget better. Appreciate your help!
@chefcella No problem at all! Good luck with your build, and let me know if you have any other questions along the way. Happy gaming!
