I'm looking to buy a new PC and need some advice on which chipset would be best for the Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Any suggestions?

Yeah, the B450 chipset is definitely a good option for those on a tighter budget. However, if you can stretch your budget a bit more, going with an X570 chipset will offer better performance and future-proofing. You can find some great deals on X570 motherboards, like the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) or MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI Which Chipsets Work With AMD's Ryzen 5 3600 CPU?.

The X570 is the recommended chipset for the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU due to its full support for PCIe 4.0, according to this TechReviewer article Which Chipsets Work With AMD's Ryzen 5 3600 CPU?. B550 chipsets also provide PCIe 4.0 lanes from the CPU, but slots connected via these chipsets will run at PCIe 3.0 speeds. If you're looking for a great deal, you can always check out the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) or MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI as well.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll look into those options. Could anyone recommend any other chipsets that are compatible with the Ryzen 5 3600?

The B450 chipset is also compatible with the Ryzen 5 3600 processor, but it doesn't support PCIe 4.0 like the X570 does. Still, if you're on a budget, it might be worth considering. I've used one in my own build and haven't had any issues so far.
