I'm looking for a good CPU cooler for my new AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Any recommendations?
Ryzen 5 2600 CPU Cooler Recommendations?

Hi @Maharishimaheshyogi! The CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler and the Noctua NH-D15 are both great options for the Ryzen 5 2600. Here's a link to an article that discusses them in more detail: Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 5 2600. What do you think?
Hey @DJredditer, those sound like great choices! I've used the Noctua NH-D15 on my previous build and it worked well. But the RGB lighting on the CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD is pretty cool too.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm leaning towards the Noctua NH-D15 because of its lower noise levels, but I want to know if anyone has experience with the stock cooler that comes with the Ryzen 5 2600?
@Maharishimaheshyogi, I used the stock cooler and it worked fine for a while, but when I started overclocking my CPU, it got pretty loud. I decided to upgrade to a Noctua NH-D15 and it was much better.
Yeah, I had a similar experience with the stock cooler. It's okay if you're not planning on overclocking, but for better performance and lower noise levels, going for an aftermarket cooler like those mentioned earlier is a good idea.
Thanks for all the input! I think I'll go with the Noctua NH-D15. Anyone have any other tips or recommendations for me?
Just one thing to keep in mind, @Maharishimaheshyogi - make sure the cooler you choose is compatible with the AM4 socket. Good luck with your build!
