I've just bought a new AMD Ryzen 3 Pro 5350GE and I'm looking for some recommendations on the best CPU cooler to get. Can anyone help me out with this? I don't want to end up spending too much though.
Ryzen 3 Pro 5350GE CPU Cooler Recommendations?
Started by mattinquagmire on May 06, 2024
For your Ryzen 3 Pro 5350GE, you'll want a cooler that can handle at least a TDP of 48 watts. Both air and liquid coolers are good options. Have you checked out the TechReviewer article Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 3 Pro 5350GE for some recommendations?
Yeah, I saw that. The Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler looks great but it's quite expensive. Are there any budget-friendly alternatives?
I've been using the Noctua NH-D15 with my Ryzen 3 Pro 5350GE and it's working great. It's not as fancy as the Corsair, but it does the job well without breaking the bank.
That sounds good, but is there anything else in a similar price range? I'm also considering the HUANUO single monitor mount that someone mentioned in another thread...
If you're looking for a high-performance air cooler, I would recommend checking out the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim. It's quite efficient and has a low noise output. As for the HUANUO single monitor mount, I've used it with my BE270U and it works fine. The assembly was a bit tricky though.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll take a look at the Pure Rock Slim as well. What about closed-loop liquid coolers? Are they worth the extra cost?
It really depends on your preferences and budget. Closed-loop liquid coolers like the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD offer better cooling performance and lower noise levels compared to air coolers. However, if you're on a tight budget, an air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 might be more suitable.
Great, thanks for all your help! I think I'll go with the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD Liquid CPU Cooler after reading some more reviews. Thanks again!
No problem, happy to help! Just make sure you properly mount it and ensure good cable management so that everything stays tidy.
Good luck with your new cooler! Remember to keep an eye on the temperatures while gaming to make sure everything is running smoothly.
You got it! And don't forget to share your experience with others once you've had a chance to use it for a while. Have a great time gaming!
