I'm building a PC and I've been looking at the Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE CPU. Does anyone have experience with this CPU or know how it performs when multitasking?
Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE TDP & Multitasking

I have the same CPU in my rig, and it handles multitasking quite well! The TDP (Thermal Design Power) is 35 watts at its base frequency of 3.2 GHz, which means it's relatively efficient for a CPU in this class.
That's interesting! I've been doing some research on the Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE and came across an article on TechReviewer about its TDP and PPT (Package Power Tracking) limits. You can check it out here: What Is the TDP of the Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE CPU?. The CPU has a 48 watt PPT limit, which means it monitors power consumption and reduces performance if the limit is exceeded to prevent overheating.
Thanks for the link! So, even though it's got a decent TDP, does that mean I shouldn't worry too much about multitasking with this CPU?
You're welcome! The TDP and PPT limits are important factors to consider when building a PC. If you want to maximize your CPU's performance during heavy multitasking, you might need a cooler and power supply capable of handling the extra heat and power consumption.
Yeah, I'd definitely keep that in mind. My system is pretty well-ventilated, but it's something I'll remember when upgrading or building another PC.
Great advice, everyone! Thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge about the Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE.
