@BistheBestest, the Polk Audio Signa S4 is a solid mid-range soundbar with HDMI audio support (eARC) and Bluetooth capability. It has an ultra-slim design, which might be a plus if you have limited space on your TV stand. However, it doesn't support Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. That's great news! Thanks for sharing, @Lichimaru. I've been considering the Sony HT-A5000 because of its 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos support. Is it worth the price?

@BistheBestest, the Sony HT-A5000 is a fantastic soundbar if you're looking for high-end performance. It offers great audio quality and supports various surround sound formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Plus, it has Bluetooth capability for wireless audio streaming. However, it's on the expensive side, so consider your budget before making a decision.

@staynchik, thank you for your input! I'll definitely give that some thought. What about Polk Audio Signa S4? Is it a good option?

@Lichimaru, thanks for that information! I'm still considering my options. What's your opinion on the Bose Model 838309-1100 TV Soundbar?

@BistheBestest, the Bose Model 838309-1100 is a popular choice among users due to its sleek design and impressive audio performance. It supports various surround sound formats, including Dolby Atmos, and has HDMI video/audio pass-through support for seamless connectivity. However, it's on the pricier side compared to other options.

@staynchik, that's really helpful! I'll look into the Bose Model 838309-1100 as well. By the way, what about subwoofers? Are they worth the investment?

@BistheBestest, adding a subwoofer can significantly enhance your home theater experience by providing deeper bass and a more immersive audio experience. It's definitely worth considering if you enjoy movies or gaming with powerful bass sounds.

@BistheBestest, in addition to subwoofers, wireless surround speakers are another option to consider for an even more immersive sound experience. These can be added to your current setup to create a virtual surround sound effect.

@HarvestSweet and @Lichimaru, I appreciate the advice! I'll definitely research subwoofers and wireless surround speakers further. Any recommendations on which HDMI cable to use?

@BistheBestest, for the LG 42" C3 TV, an Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) is a good option. It's compatible with eARC and supports high-resolution video and audio signals without compromising signal quality.

@staynchik, thanks for that recommendation! I'll make sure to check out the Anker HDMI cable. Thanks everyone for your input!

You're welcome, @BistheBestest! Good luck finding the perfect soundbar setup for your LG 42" C3 TV. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions.
