Hi @corabaint! The Intel Pentium Gold G6600 officially supports memory speeds up to 2666 MT/s when using DDR4 memory, according to this TechReviewer article Best RAM for the Intel Pentium Gold G6600 CPU. So I would recommend going with a RAM speed of 2666 MHz for optimal performance.

Yeah, I've had good experiences with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM. It's reliable and offers sufficient memory for gaming and content creation. What do you think about it?

I also found a great alternative that might interest you, the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM. It has an impressive clock speed and allows for overclocking if you're into that kind of thing.

Thanks for sharing @MarcoBSi and @CowboysCrewLove! I'm leaning towards the 2666 MHz RAM since it's officially supported by my CPU, but I might consider the Corsair Vengeance LPX if I want to experiment with overclocking later on. Any thoughts?

@corabaint, you'll definitely get good performance with the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz RAM. But if you think you might want to push for higher speeds in the future, then going with the Corsair Vengeance LPX could be a smart move.

I recently upgraded my G6600 CPU and went with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz DDR4 RAM. So far, it's been running great! The extra speed has made a noticeable difference in gaming and multitasking.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @obvalternate! That gives me even more confidence in choosing the Corsair Vengeance LPX if I want to future-proof my system a bit.

Glad to hear it, @obvalternate! And yeah, @corabaint, the Corsair Vengeance LPX is a great option if you're looking for higher speeds and some potential overclocking. Just make sure your motherboard supports memory overclocking.
