@James3703 Thanks for your input. I've been doing some research and came across this TechReviewer article that might be helpful to you guys as well: Choosing the Best Power Supply for Intel's Core i3-9100F CPU. It discusses the best power supply units (PSUs) for Intel's Core i3-9100F CPU, including wattage recommendations and efficiency ratings.

Sure thing, @StevesTips! For the Intel Core i3-9100F, you'll want a good quality power supply that can handle its requirements. Two top choices are the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 Series 80+ Gold Full Modular ATX 3.0 PCIe Gen 5 Power Supply (750–1650 watt) and the EVGA SuperNOVA G5 Series Fully Modular Power Supply (650–1000 watt). Both of these brands have a reputation for efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with various components.

@ryancshort Thanks for sharing that link! I'll definitely check it out. By the way, does anyone have experience with either of the power supplies you mentioned? Any pros or cons?

@StevesTips, I personally own a Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 750 watt PSU and it's been running smoothly for months now. It's fully modular, which makes cable management easier, and the build quality feels solid.

I've used an EVGA SuperNOVA G5 650 watt power supply in my previous build. It was efficient, quiet, and provided stable power to all my components. The fanless design kept noise levels low, but it didn't come with any modular cables like the Thermaltake model.

@James3703 and @feeseize, thanks for sharing your experiences! Both options sound great, but I'm still unsure which one would be a better fit for my build. Any suggestions based on your personal experience?

It really depends on your specific needs and budget. If you need higher wattage for future upgrades or if space is an issue, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 might be the way to go. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more compact option with a fanless design, the EVGA SuperNOVA G5 could be a better choice.

Good points, @Mauronic. I appreciate the advice. I think I'll do some more research and read that TechReviewer article you shared, @ryancshort, before making my decision. Thanks everyone!

No problem, @StevesTips! Happy building, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

@StevesTips Good luck with your build! And remember to always get a power supply with enough wattage headroom for potential future upgrades or overclocking. Have fun!

@StevesTips Best of luck! Don't forget to add some buffer for any unforeseen increases in power consumption. Enjoy the process!
