Quiet Coolers for Ryzen 7 5700G?

Started by tradermaki on June 10, 2024

I'm looking for some recommendations on quiet coolers for my new Ryzen 7 5700G. Any suggestions? I don't want anything too big or bulky, but something that can handle the heat.

I agree with @smartmilk, AIO liquid coolers are typically more quiet than most air coolers. Plus, they're much easier to set up and maintain. If you want a bit more info on the H150i, check out this TechReviewer article: Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for AMD's Ryzen 7 5700G.

Have you considered an AIO liquid cooler like the Corsair H150i? It's quite efficient and relatively quiet compared to air coolers.

That sounds interesting! But how does it compare to a good air cooler in terms of noise levels?

I've used both air and liquid coolers, and for me, AIO liquid coolers like the Corsair H150i are definitely quieter. They also look great, which is an added bonus!

That's really helpful, @lambdapyro. I'll definitely read that article. How do you find the cooling performance of the AIO liquid cooler in your setup?

I haven't had any issues with the cooling performance of my Corsair H150i. It keeps my CPU cool and quiet throughout gaming sessions and intense workloads.

Great to hear, @smartmilk. Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll take a closer look at AIO liquid coolers like the Corsair H150i.

If you're still unsure, you could also consider the Noctua NH-D15 air cooler. It's known for being quiet and efficient. But if you prefer something more modern, go with an AIO.

Thanks everyone for your advice! I'll check out both options but leaning towards the AIO liquid coolers now.
