I recently purchased a Samsung 85" QN900C TV and I'm curious about its HDMI performance. What are the best cables to use for optimal results?

Yes, you're right about the HDMI capabilities of the QN900C. In fact, TechReviewer has an article that discusses this in detail HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 85" QN900C TV. It's worth checking out if you want to learn more about the TV's HDMI performance and recommended cables.

I'm not an expert, but from what I've read online, it seems that the Samsung QN900C supports HDMI 2.1 with four ports, which is great for high-resolution content.

@triple-t-type Thank you! I'll definitely read the article. Do you have any personal recommendations for cables or other accessories?

I've been using a Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable with my QN900C, and it works great. It's pretty durable and has good signal quality.

@lousiana That sounds good! I'll look into that cable. Thanks for the recommendation!

Also, you might want to consider Anker's 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) if you're in need of a shorter cable. It's also highly rated and compatible with your TV.

@triple-t-type Thank you for the suggestion! I'll check out both options.

One more thing to keep in mind is that HDMI 2.1 cables can support higher resolutions up to 10K and offer faster refresh rates for other resolutions compared to HDMI 2.0. This means your TV's 144 Hz refresh rate will work seamlessly with these cables.

@lousiana That's good to know! I appreciate the information. I'll make sure to get an HDMI 2.1 cable to fully take advantage of my TV's capabilities.

Just remember, if you're using older devices that only support HDMI 2.0, your new cable will still work with them, but it won't be able to utilize all the features of HDMI 2.1. So make sure all your connected devices are compatible.

@triple-t-type Understood! I'll check the compatibility of my other devices before making a purchase. Thanks again for the advice!

No problem! Good luck with your decision, and enjoy your new TV!

Remember that eARC support is also available on the QN900C for advanced audio capabilities like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

@AmericanSquatch I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for all the help!
