Q60A TV Input Lag - HDMI Inputs?

Started by TheGamersReview on July 10, 2024

I've been looking into getting a new TV and came across the Samsung 70" Q60A. Can anyone share their experiences with it? Particularly, how is the input lag when using different HDMI inputs?

Thanks for sharing your experiences! Just to add more information, there's an article discussing the Samsung 70" Q60A's HDMI capabilities and input lag. It can be found at HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 70" Q60A TV. I found it really helpful when I was researching my TV purchase.

I recently bought the Q60A and it's been great for me so far. The input lag on my gaming setup was acceptable, but I did some research and found that eARC functionality supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel which is pretty cool.

Hey, just wanted to add that the refresh rate of the Samsung 70" Q60A TV is native 60 Hz. I know some people are looking for higher refresh rates, but it's still great for watching movies and shows.

I've been using the Q60A for a few months now and I'm quite happy with its performance. As for input lag, I haven't really noticed any issues while gaming on it. The TV does support HDMI 2.0 ports, which should help with some of those concerns.

Solution

That's great to hear from multiple people with experience using the Q60A. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The article you mentioned, @Genericseat, seems like a valuable resource. Have any of you tried using different HDMI inputs and noticed any differences in input lag?

I've mostly used the eARC HDMI port on my Q60A, but haven't really experimented with other ports. I'm pretty happy with the performance overall though.

Same here, I mainly use the HDMI 2.0 ports for my non-gaming devices and haven't noticed any issues with input lag.

I've tried all the different HDMI inputs on the Q60A and didn't notice any significant differences in input lag. The gaming experience has been smooth and enjoyable so far.

It's good to know that most of you haven't experienced any major input lag issues with your Q60A TVs. Thanks for sharing! I'll probably go ahead and purchase one now that I have a better idea of what to expect.
