Popular Coolers for Intel Core i3-14100?

Started by Oxygentleman on May 05, 2024

I've recently upgraded to an Intel Core i3-14100 processor and I'm in need of a new CPU cooler. Can anyone recommend some popular options? Also, any advice on what to consider when choosing one would be great.

Hi @Oxygentleman, the Enermax Liqmax III 360 is a great liquid cooler for Intel processors like the i3-14100. I've used it with my previous CPU and it performed really well. Here's an article that talks more about it: Choosing the Best CPU Cooler for Intel's Core i3-14100.

Solution

The Noctua NH-D15 is another top choice for an air cooler. It has a high cooling performance, is pretty quiet, and comes with quality components.

I've used the Corsair H100i V2 AIO liquid cooler, and it's fantastic! Great cooling performance, easy to install, and looks really nice too.

@OlliverClosoff Thanks for the recommendation, @OlliverClosoff. That article seems very informative. And @Mauronic, I'll definitely check out the Noctua NH-D15 as well. @mattylert, I've seen the Corsair H100i V2 and it does look sleek.

Don't forget about the open-loop coolers! They offer more flexibility for custom cooling setups but can be a bit trickier to set up and maintain. Just something to consider if you're looking for a more advanced solution.

@AstroColton Thanks for the heads-up on open-loop coolers, @AstroColton. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that much complexity yet, but it's good to know my options!

Yeah, the Enermax Liqmax III 360 is a solid choice for most users. It balances cooling performance with affordability.

@Oxygentleman Good luck with your search! Let us know which cooler you end up getting and how it performs.

Right on, @Mauronic. I'm curious to see which one @Oxygentleman chooses too!

@Mauronic,@mattylert Thanks for all the input! I appreciate your suggestions. I'll do some more research and probably pick up a cooler in the next few days.

Sounds good, @Oxygentleman. Enjoy your new cooler and happy gaming!

Good luck, @Oxygentleman! Have fun building your rig!

Cheers, mate!
