I'm considering getting a stand for my Philips 27" 272E1GSJ monitor. Has anyone here used any of the different types of stands? Any recommendations?
Philips 27" 272E1GSJ Monitor Stands Types?

Hi @mbaxterx, I've been using the Philips 272E1GSJ for about six months now and really like it! I've found that a wall mount has worked best for me because I don't have much space on my desk. It's quite stable and easy to install.
Hey @lumberjackshirt, your monitor looks great mounted on the wall! I'm also interested in getting a stand or mount for my Philips 272E1GSJ but I'm not sure about drilling holes in my wall. Do you have any suggestions?
I came across this TechReviewer article that might be helpful to those looking for monitor stands or mounts for the Philips 27" 272E1GSJ: Monitor Mounts & Stands for Philips's 27" 272E1GSJ. It discusses various types of mounts and stands, including C-clamp, grommet, wall, and monitor stands. It also provides some recommendations for specific brands.
Thanks @PorkChopHill, I'll definitely check out that article! @lumberjackshirt, what about a C-clamp or grommet mount? Do you think those would work well on my desk?
@mbaxterx, a C-clamp could be a good option for you if you have an edge to your desk. However, they might not provide the same level of stability as other mounts and can struggle with heavier monitors. A grommet mount is more stable but requires drilling a hole in your desk.
Thanks for all the input! I think I'll go with a monitor stand since it provides better adjustability and saves space on my desk. The TechReviewer article @PorkChopHill shared seems really comprehensive, so I'll check it out for more details.
Great choice, @plisskenjones! Let me know how you like the stand once you get it. I might end up going with a monitor stand too after reading that article. Thanks again everyone!
