I recently came across the LG 27UN850-W and 27UL850-W monitors, but I'm not sure which one would be better for gaming. Can anyone provide some insights on their performance?
Performance of LG 27UN850-W & 27UL850-W in Gaming?

The LG 27UN850-W and 27UL850-W both have impressive resolutions and color capabilities. However, when it comes to gaming, the refresh rate is a crucial factor. Both monitors offer a 60 Hz refresh rate, which might not be the best for fast-paced games.
That's right. A higher refresh rate can make a significant difference in gaming performance, especially for competitive games or fast-paced action titles. I've personally experienced better results with monitors that have at least a 120 Hz refresh rate.
LG 27" 27UN850-W vs. LG 27" 27UL850-W provides an in-depth comparison of these two monitors and also discusses their suitability for gaming. It's quite helpful in understanding the differences between them.
Thank you, @Mattathon. I'll check out the article you shared. In your opinion, which one would be better if I can't go for a 120 Hz refresh rate?
I'd say both monitors are good options for gaming, but it ultimately depends on what aspects matter most to you. If you prioritize color accuracy and resolution, then the LG 27UL850-W might be a better choice. However, if you prefer a larger screen size and higher refresh rates, then the LG 27UN850-W could be more suitable.
@CrissyEU, thanks for your input. I'll take both of those factors into consideration while making my decision. Do you have any personal experience with either of these monitors?
I've used the LG 27UN850-W in my gaming setup, and it's been great so far. The screen size is perfect for my desk space, and the color accuracy is pretty decent too. I haven't personally tried the LG 27UL850-W, but from what I've read and heard from others, it's also a solid option.
I have experience with both of these monitors. They're both excellent choices for gaming, especially if you can't afford higher-end options. The 60 Hz refresh rate might be a drawback, but the resolution and color accuracy more than make up for it in many cases.
@Mattathon and @CrissyEU, thanks for your valuable insights. I'll definitely give both of these monitors a try based on your recommendations. I appreciate your help!
