PD3205U Stand With Height Adjustment?

Started by LooksGr8OnPaper on May 08, 2024

I'm looking for a stand that can handle the BenQ 31.5" PD3205U monitor and has height adjustment. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to elevate my monitor so it's more ergonomic for me.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Based on what you've shared, I think I'll explore the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount and the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount further. Both seem to have good features and are within my budget. I'll also check out the TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for BenQ's 31.5" PD3205U that @Imaginebeingamish mentioned.

@LooksGr8OnPaper You might want to check out the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount. It supports monitors up to 32" and has a VESA size of 100 x 100, which should work with your PD3205U. Additionally, it offers height adjustment and tilt functionality for better ergonomics.

I've been using the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount for my 31.5" monitor, and I must say it's a pretty solid choice! It has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm as well, so it should fit your PD3205U perfectly. The best part is that it's really affordable and offers height adjustment.

@chefcella @Maya1010 I have to say, TechReviewer did an excellent review on monitor stands for the BenQ 31.5" PD3205U. They compared quite a few options, including the Ergotron HX and VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mounts. Here's the link to their article: Monitor Mounts & Stands for BenQ's 31.5" PD3205U. It might be helpful for you to check it out before making your decision.

@Imaginebeingamish Thanks for sharing that link! I'll definitely take a look at the TechReviewer article. Also, does anyone have experience with cable management on these stands? I'm always looking for ways to keep my desk tidy.

@LooksGr8OnPaper The VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount actually has some built-in cable clips that help with organization. It's not perfect, but it does the job fairly well. You might want to consider going for a more premium option if you're looking for flawless cable management, though.

I've found that the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount has great cable management features. It comes with a cable basket and a cable pass-through, so you can keep your cables neat and organized. However, it's worth noting that this mount is more expensive than the VIVO option.

@LooksGr8OnPaper I've been using the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount for my 31.5" monitor, and I must say, it has decent cable management features as well. It comes with clips to help keep your cables organized. The stand itself is pretty affordable and offers height adjustment, which I find very useful.

@LooksGr8OnPaper That sounds like a great plan! Make sure to double-check the compatibility of each mount with your BenQ 31.5" PD3205U monitor, and don't forget to consider the weight and dimensions of the mount as well. Good luck finding the perfect stand!

@LooksGr8OnPaper Absolutely! And remember, if you're not completely satisfied with a particular mount's performance, many manufacturers offer return policies that allow you to send it back within a certain period. It might be worth considering when making your decision.

@LooksGr8OnPaper Good luck with your search! Remember to take your time and weigh the pros and cons of each stand before making a final decision. And don't hesitate to ask for more advice if you need it. Happy searching!
