Sure thing, @FlaviusA! Here's the link again: Overview: Patriot Viper Steel RGB 32 GB DDR4-3600 CL20 RAM

I've been using it for a while now and can say that it works great! The latency rate is 11 ns (CL20) which isn't the best, but it's still decent for most games. You should check out Overview: Patriot Viper Steel RGB 32 GB DDR4-3600 CL20 RAM for a more detailed analysis.

Thanks, @wanderingdove. I've been reading up on RAM speeds and how they impact gaming performance, but haven't come across any discussion on memory timings like CL20. Could you explain what that means?

Sure thing, @FlaviusA! The CL20 refers to the CAS latency of the Patriot Viper Steel RGB. It's essentially the time it takes for the RAM to retrieve data from its cells. Lower numbers mean faster access times, but in reality, most modern games don't need super low-latency memory to run smoothly.

I've also been using this RAM for a while, and I can confirm that it works well with my gaming setup. The effective frequency of 3600 MHz is pretty decent, and the capacity of 32 GB is more than enough for most tasks. I just don't see the need to spend extra on lower-latency RAM.

That's good to know, @alexalextan55. So even with a CL20 latency rate, it should still handle gaming well?

Yes, @FlaviusA, the Patriot Viper Steel RGB will definitely handle most gaming scenarios just fine. The latency isn't amazing, but it's not going to hinder you in your games either.

I've been considering this RAM for my work PC and was curious about its performance impact on professional tools. Any insights?

For professional tools, the Patriot Viper Steel RGB should be more than adequate. The 32 GB capacity and decent frequency are great for multitasking and running multiple applications simultaneously.

I think this RAM might just suit my needs. @wanderingdove, could you mind sending me that link again about the Patriot Viper Steel RGB's performance?
