The 3600 MHz frequency helps with gaming and multitasking, but keep in mind that the CAS latency (CL20) is somewhat average compared to other models.

Solution

@RambooPanda Thanks for the input! And @Genericseat, thanks for sharing the link to the TechReviewer article. I'll definitely check it out for more information.

I also have the Patriot Viper Elite II, and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. While the CL20 latency isn't the best, it doesn't seem to affect my gaming or work much. The 16 GB capacity is sufficient for most tasks, but if you're planning on using heavy applications like video editing, you might want to consider a higher-capacity option.

@dchambers1191 That's true. Ultimately, the best RAM depends on your specific needs and usage patterns. For most users, the Patriot Viper Elite II should be more than adequate, but it's always good to research and compare different options before making a decision.

@RambooPanda @dchambers1191 Thanks for the advice! I'll take all of this into consideration before making my final choice. I appreciate your insights!

No problem, @unquestionablemotive. Just remember that even though the Patriot Viper Elite II has a CL20 latency, it still offers good performance for gaming and professional applications. Make sure to also check if it's compatible with your motherboard and budget before making a purchase.
