Any suggestions for choosing between the MSI 24" G24C4 and Asus 23.6" VG24VQE monitors for gaming? Just looking to upgrade my setup.
MSI G24C4 vs. Asus VG24VQE - Key Differences?

The refresh rate on both is great, but I think the VG24VQE's higher one might offer a smoother experience in fast-paced games. Also, it has a better color range according to MSI 24" G24C4 vs. Asus 23.6" VG24VQE.
That makes sense! How do their response times compare? I'm worried about any lag or ghosting during intense gaming sessions.
They both have excellent response times of 1 ms, so you should not experience any significant lag or ghosting.
I've had the G24C4 and found it to be fantastic for gaming. The higher color capability was really impressive, even though it has a lower refresh rate compared to the VG24VQE.
Thanks for sharing your experience! How about build quality? I don't want something that's going to break down on me after a few months.
I've heard good things about both brands' durability. You might want to check out some user reviews online to get a better idea of their reliability.
One thing to consider is the size and design of each monitor. The VG24VQE has a 23.6-inch screen, while the G24C4 is 24 inches. Also, the VG24VQE has a curved design which might be more comfortable for longer gaming sessions.
Good point! I should also mention that my desk space is quite limited, so a smaller monitor would probably be more suitable.
In that case, the VG24VQE could be a better fit due to its smaller size and potentially better color accuracy. However, if you prefer the higher color capability of the G24C4, it's still worth considering based on your desk constraints.
I'll take both factors into account. Thanks for all the advice! I'll read up more on each monitor and their reliability before making a decision.
