I'm looking for a new monitor stand for my MSI G2412V. Can you guys recommend something reliable that can handle its weight?

Based on the information @CandySona provided, you'll want to find a monitor stand that can support at least 7.34 lbs and has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm. The TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for MSI's 23.8" G2412V discusses various options for MSI G2412V compatible mounts.

The VESA size of the MSI 23.8" G2412V is 100 x 100 mm, so make sure to get a mount or stand with matching dimensions. As for the weight, it's around 7.34 lbs.

Thanks for the advice! I was wondering, does anyone have experience with any specific brands or models that work well for this monitor?

I've used a VIVO desk mount before and it did a good job supporting my monitor's weight. The VESA size also matched perfectly. You might want to check it out.

@qualiagirl That's a great recommendation! Another option is the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount, which is known for its durability and compatibility with various monitor sizes and weights. It can handle up to 22 lbs and has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm.

Awesome, thanks! I'll look into those options. Also, does anyone have any tips for choosing the right mount or stand?

Make sure the mount you choose can handle your monitor's weight and has the correct VESA size. Beyond that, consider factors like adjustability, cable management, and ease of installation.

@CandySona Also, don't forget to check for a reinforcement plate if you have a glass desk, as it can prevent damage from heavy monitors. The HUANUO Steel Monitor Mount Reinforcement Plate is a good option for this.

Good point! Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll do some research and see which mount would be best for my setup.
