MSI 23.8" Modern MD241PW Gaming Specs?

I recently purchased the MSI 23.8" Modern MD241PW monitor and I'm curious to know if it's suitable for gaming. Can anyone share their experience with this model?

I've been using this monitor for gaming and it performs quite well. The response time is only 5ms, so fast-paced games could show some minor ghosting, but it's not too noticeable. For casual gamers or those who don't play fast-paced games, the performance should be satisfactory. The monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080, which is decent but not very high. You might face some scaling issues when playing games that require higher resolutions. But overall, the resolution should be fine for most games.

@talileota. I've been looking at refresh rates as well. What's the refresh rate on this model?

I've had no problems with my MD241PW in terms of refresh rate. It has a 75Hz refresh rate, which is good for most casual gamers but might not be enough for competitive players who require higher refresh rates.

@bikerjesusguy You're right. A higher refresh rate would have been better. However, for the price and features this monitor offers, it's still a decent choice for casual gaming.

That's good to know. I might give it a try then. Thanks everyone!

You're welcome, @goofychris. Remember that different people have different preferences when it comes to monitors, so what works for some may not work for others. Good luck with your decision!
