Solution

I've used a HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount for my Sceptre 24" C248W-1920RND and it's been great so far! It holds the monitor securely and is pretty easy to adjust.

I've had good experience with AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount too. It's versatile, holds up well and has a nice cable management system.

Thanks for your inputs @cherrryblssm and @Mediumadventure. Both of these options seem promising. One question though, any thoughts on weight capacity? I'm worried about my monitor being too heavy for the mount.

You shouldn't have any issues with weight capacity considering your Sceptre 24" C248W-1920RND monitor weighs only 7 lbs. Both HUANUO and AVLT mounts you mentioned are designed to handle weights much heavier than that. Just make sure to tighten all the screws properly before installation.

That's great to know! Thanks for the reassurance @KadenReed. I'm leaning towards getting either the HUANUO or AVLT mount now. Any suggestions on which one to go for?

It really depends on your personal preference and specific needs. Both mounts are good in their own way. If you want a cheaper option, go with HUANUO. If you're willing to spend a bit more for some extra features like better cable management, AVLT might be the way to go.

Yeah, it's also important to consider the type of desk you have and where you plan on placing your monitor. Some mounts work better with certain setups than others.

Thanks again everyone! I'll do some more research based on your suggestions and decide on a mount. Fingers crossed I make the right choice!

You're welcome @PijnAppel. Good luck with your decision!
