I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup and I need some advice on which monitor to choose. Any recommendations?

I've read some reviews about these two monitors. According to the TechReviewer article Asus 28" VG289Q vs. Dell 27" S2721QS, the Dell 27" S2721QS has a slightly better color capability and response time compared to the Asus VG289Q.

It really depends on your budget, but the Asus 28" VG289Q and Dell 27" S2721QS are both great options.

Have you considered other factors like refresh rate, response time, or screen resolution? These all have a significant impact on gaming performance.

That's interesting, but what about refresh rate? How important is it for gaming?

The refresh rate of both monitors is 60 Hz, which is considered mediocre for gaming. A higher refresh rate would provide smoother visuals and a more responsive experience, especially for fast-paced games.

Any suggestions on how I can find the best monitor that suits my needs? I'm not sure if I should prioritize color capability or response time over refresh rate.

I'd recommend trying out some different monitors in person. The best one for you will depend on your preferences and what matters most to you in a gaming setup.

Yeah, I agree with @booksandbloggin. You might also want to consider factors like screen size, ergonomics, and connectivity options, as well as overall budget.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll go visit some local stores to check out these monitors firsthand. Also, I'll have a look at the TechReviewer article that @Keebler8448 mentioned to get more insights on the S2721QS.

Great idea! Good luck with your search and let us know how it goes!

Same here, make sure you test them out with some of your favorite games to see which one feels best for you.
