Monitor Arm Load Capacity for ViewSonic VG2748?

Started by BlackRiverMead on July 10, 2024

I've been looking into buying a new monitor arm for my ViewSonic VG2748 and I'm curious about the load capacity of these arms. Has anyone here had any experience with this or come across any recommendations?

Thanks for the input @slibuntu! I did some research and found a TechReviewer article that discusses load capacities of various monitor arms. The article is Monitor Mounts & Stands for ViewSonic's 27" VG2748. In addition, there are some recommendations for specific brands like HUANUO, AVLT, and Ergotron which seem to have good reviews.

Yeah, I have one for my 27-inch ViewSonic monitor and it's working great! It can support up to 22 lbs which should be enough for your VG2748.

That's really helpful, @OlympianDWill! I'm going to check out the article you mentioned as well as the recommended brands. Thanks a lot!

You're welcome @BlackRiverMead. Don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions or need further advice.

I've also used an AVLT Single Monitor Arm for my ViewSonic VG2748 and it worked perfectly! It has a load capacity of 33 lbs which should definitely support your monitor. The setup was quite easy too!

Thanks for sharing your experience @satyavayu. I'll definitely consider the AVLT arm based on your recommendation.

Great to hear, @satyavayu! It's always good to have more options. Did you also read the TechReviewer article that @slibuntu mentioned earlier? It could provide some valuable insights for @BlackRiverMead.

I'm going to check it out right away @OlympianDWill. Thanks again for all the help!

Good luck with your decision, @BlackRiverMead. We're here if you need anything else.
