Started by DaddyLongArm on May 19, 2024

I just bought a new BenQ PD3200U monitor and I'm looking for suggestions on the best monitor arm to use with it. Can you guys help me out?

Sure! When choosing a monitor arm for your BenQ PD3200U, consider the weight (19 lb) and VESA size (100x100mm) of your monitor. Also, take into account the different types of mounts like C-clamp, grommet, wall-mounted, and adjustable desk stands. One TechReviewer article I found very helpful is Monitor Mounts & Stands for BenQ's 32" PD3200U. It discusses various options for single monitor desk mounts that are compatible with your monitor's specifications.

Thanks for the info! Can anyone share their experiences using specific brands or models?

I've been using a HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount for my PD3200U, and it's been working great. It's sturdy and easy to adjust. The cable management feature is also pretty useful.

That sounds good! Any recommendations on how much space this type of mount will take up on my desk?

Generally, single monitor desk mounts like the HUANUO are quite compact and don't take up too much room. However, you might need to rearrange your setup a bit to make it work with your current desk space.

I'm worried about the weight capacity of these mounts. Does anyone know if they can handle the weight of my PD3200U?

Most single monitor desk mounts are designed to hold monitors weighing up to 30 lbs, so you should have no problem with the weight of your PD3200U.

Great! Thanks for all the input. I think I'll go ahead and try out a HUANUO mount. Do you have any tips on assembly or anything else I should know?

The assembly is pretty straightforward, but make sure to read the instructions carefully. Also, keep in mind that if your desk doesn't have a hole for a grommet mount, you might need to drill one. But if you go with a C-clamp or adjustable desk stand, you won't have any issues.

Thanks again for all the advice! I'll definitely read up on those options and make my decision. Appreciate your help!

You're welcome! Good luck setting up your new monitor with the perfect mount. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @Zeberlicious! I'm also considering a HUANUO mount and found it helpful to hear from someone who's actually used one before.

No problem, @deeblowace! If you have any questions or need help with assembly, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck with your decision!
