Modular Cable Design Necessary With Core i5-9400?

I've recently built a new PC with an Intel Core i5-9400 CPU and I'm not sure whether to get a modular cable design power supply unit (PSU). Can anyone recommend one for my setup? Also, is the modular cable design really necessary?
