Solution

Wow, that's impressive! But does it also support 8K resolution? I'm curious because my current setup is 4K but might upgrade to 8K in the future.

Thanks for the information. So if I want to achieve a maximum of 10K resolution, I should use an HDMI 2.1 cable, right?

Yes, that's correct. To reach the full potential of your TV, you'll need an HDMI 2.1 cable. The higher bandwidth allows for the transmission of higher resolutions like 8K and even up to 10K.

I'm considering this TV for my gaming setup. Does it support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC)?

Yes, the LG 77" OLED evo M Series supports both VRR and eARC. These features will enhance your gaming experience by providing smoother visuals and improved audio capabilities.

Great! I'm still unsure about the refresh rate. Is it important for gaming?

A higher refresh rate is generally better for gaming, as it results in smoother motion and less input lag. The LG 77" OLED evo M Series has a native refresh rate of 120 Hz, which should provide an excellent gaming experience.

One last question: how do I know if my current HDMI cable supports the necessary features for this TV?

To check your HDMI cable's compatibility, you can look at its specifications. Make sure it supports HDMI 2.1 and has a bandwidth of at least 48Gbps for optimal performance with this TV.

Thanks everyone for the helpful information! I'll definitely consider these factors when choosing my next HDMI cable.
