Max HDMI Devices on Hisense 65U8K?

Started by HowieDub on May 22, 2024

I recently bought a Hisense 65U8K TV, and I was wondering what the maximum number of HDMI devices it can handle simultaneously? Any information would be appreciated.

Yes, that's correct! I've read the TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Hisense 65" 65U8K TV about this TV, and it mentions its HDMI capabilities. The additional HDMI 2.1 port is great for gaming or connecting high-resolution devices like projectors.

The Hisense 65" 65U8K supports a maximum of four HDMI devices (two HDMI 2.0 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports). This should be more than enough for most people's needs.

Thanks for the information! It's good to know that I can connect multiple devices without any issues. Does anyone have experience with recommended HDMI cables for this TV?

I've been using the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) with my Hisense 65U8K, and it works perfectly fine. It's also quite durable.

That sounds like a good option. Any other recommendations?

I've been using the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable for my setup, and I'm happy with it. The braided design makes it more durable, and the performance is great.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! Both of these cables sound like good choices. It's important to choose a cable that supports HDMI 2.1 if you want to take full advantage of the TV's features.

I'll definitely check out both options. Thanks everyone for your help!
