I've been using the LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M for a while now, and it's absolutely amazing! The picture quality is stunning, and I haven't experienced any issues with the HDMI ports so far. The LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M comes with three HDMI 2.1 ports! That should cover most of your needs. You can check out a detailed review and specs on TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M TV.

Great, thanks for the info. I'm planning to connect my gaming console, Blu-ray player, soundbar, and PC to the TV. Will there be any issues with so many devices connected?

You should have no problems connecting all those devices to the LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M using its three HDMI 2.1 ports. Just make sure you're using high-speed HDMI cables for a smooth experience.

Solution

That's good to hear, @cryptolaxy. Can you tell me more about the HDMI 2.1 features that are beneficial for gaming? Like I mentioned earlier, I'm planning to use this TV mainly for gaming purposes.

Sure! The LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which eliminates screen tearing and stuttering during games. It also has Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support for high-quality audio output. And if you're into HDR, the TV can handle Dynamic HDR.

That sounds awesome! Thanks everyone for your input. I think I'm sold on the LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M now. Just one last question: are there any downsides to having three HDMI 2.1 ports?

The only potential downside might be if you plan on using multiple devices simultaneously that require a lot of bandwidth, like gaming consoles and Blu-ray players. In that case, you might experience some issues with lag or loss of quality. But for most users, the three ports should be more than enough.

I see, thanks @cryptolaxy. I think I'll go ahead and purchase the LG 97" SIGNATURE OLED M. Your experience and this forum thread have been very helpful!
