I'm thinking about getting an LG 65" G2 TV and was wondering if anyone has any input on the HDMI ports and HDR support?

I don't have personal experience with eARC, but according to the TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the LG 65" G2 TV, the LG 65" G2 does support eARC. That should cover your needs for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio.

I've been using my LG 65" G2 for a few months now. The HDMI ports are great, especially with four HDMI 2.1 ports. It makes it easy to connect all my devices without needing extra adapters or hubs.

Yeah, I'm quite impressed with the HDR support on my LG 65" G2 too. Watching movies and shows in Dolby Vision is a real treat!

Thanks, @ixitheunicorn! That's really useful. I'm also curious if anyone has any experience with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) on this TV? I've heard it's great for gaming but wanted to hear from someone who's actually tried it out.

I haven't used VRR personally, but @Knowledge1337 here has been using the LG 65" G2 for a while. Maybe they can chime in with their experience?

Yeah, I've definitely used VRR on my LG 65" G2 and it's made gaming so much better! There's no screen tearing or lag, which is fantastic. It really enhances the overall gaming experience.

That sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing your experience, @Knowledge1337. I'm pretty sold on getting this TV now. One last question though – does anyone have any experience with eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) on this model? I want to make sure it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio.
