I recently read a TechReviewer article comparing different monitors for gaming Is the LG 43" 43UN700T-B Good for Gaming?. It might be helpful to check it out before making your decision. The LG 43" 43UN700T-B has its merits, but you should consider what aspects are most important to you in a gaming monitor.

It depends on your preferences! The resolution is excellent at 3840 x 2160, which should provide an immersive experience. However, the refresh rate of 60 Hz and response time of 8 ms are mediocre and poor, respectively. You might want to look into higher refresh rate monitors if you're serious about gaming.

@ECHOtheSound and @brianlovestennisball. So if I'm looking for the best gaming experience, it sounds like I need a higher refresh rate? What's your opinion on the 43UN700T-B's IPS panel type and color capability?

Yeah, generally speaking, having a higher refresh rate can provide a smoother gaming experience, especially during fast-paced games. The IPS panel is excellent for wide viewing angles and accurate colors, which is good if you're into visual quality. But at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preferences and your specific needs.

Thanks for all the input! @ECHOtheSound, @brianlovestennisball, and @shmoopsie. Based on what I've learned here, I think I'll do some more research before making my decision. It's great to know that there are so many factors to consider when choosing a monitor for gaming!

You're welcome, @hoopjeans! Happy researching and good luck with your new setup!
