I've done some research on this monitor and found a TechReviewer article that talks about its performance in detail. Here's the link: Is the LG 40" 40WP95C-W Good for Gaming?. It might help clarify some of your doubts.

Yes! I've been using the LG 40WP95C-W for a few months now, and I must say it's an impressive monitor. The resolution is fantastic, and I'm really enjoying the ultra-wide display in games like Fortnite and Call of Duty.

That's great to hear! But what about the refresh rate? I've read that it might not be optimal for gaming.

The refresh rate is indeed 72 Hz, which may not be ideal for competitive gamers who prefer higher refresh rates. However, I find it perfectly fine for my casual gaming sessions. The overall experience has been good.

@herrokatie. I'll check out the article you shared. But how does the color accuracy and response time compare to other gaming monitors?

I find the color accuracy on this monitor to be excellent, especially with games that have rich visuals. The response time is also decent for most games. However, if you're looking for a monitor with near-instantaneous response times, you might want to consider something else.

True. I'm happy with my LG 40WP95C-W, but I can understand why some people might prefer monitors with higher refresh rates and faster response times for competitive gaming or high-end graphics work.

Thanks everyone for the input! I'll read the TechReviewer article and see if this monitor could be a good fit for me.

You're welcome, @raiserino. Remember that everyone's needs are different when it comes to gaming monitors. It might help to try out some monitors in person before making a final decision.

Good advice, @StructurallySound. I'll definitely consider that. Thanks again, and have a great day!
