I'd recommend checking out TechReviewer's LG 32" 32UN880-B vs. BenQ 32" PD3200U for more information on gaming monitors and how to choose the right one for your setup. It could help you make an informed decision about which monitor and graphics card are best for you.

Both monitors have similar specifications, but I personally prefer the BenQ PD3200U due to its slightly lower response time (4ms compared to 5ms on the LG 32UN880-B). This makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games like first-person shooters and racing games. The color capability is also better on the BenQ monitor at 100% SRGB compared to the 95% DCI-P3 on the LG model.

I've heard that higher refresh rates are important for gaming, but both monitors have a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Is this going to be a problem?

Yes, you're right. Both models have a mediocre 60 Hz refresh rate. For smoother gameplay and less motion blur, it's recommended to get a monitor with at least a 120 Hz refresh rate. However, if your graphics card can handle high frame rates, the lower response time on the BenQ PD3200U could still give you better performance in fast-paced games.

LG 32" 32UN880-B vs. BenQ 32" PD3200U provides a detailed comparison of these two monitors and also discusses their suitability for gaming. It's worth checking out before making a final decision.

That makes sense. I'll probably go with the BenQ PD3200U then, since it has a slightly better response time. But I might need to upgrade my graphics card if I want smoother gameplay at higher frame rates.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely check out those links! Good thing we talked though; I think I might have ended up with a monitor that wasn't ideal for my gaming needs if it weren't for this discussion.
