LG 32ML600M-B Performance Concerns?

I recently bought the LG 32ML600M-B monitor and I'm quite happy with its design, but I have some performance concerns. I've noticed that when I play certain games at higher settings, the image gets a bit blurry or laggy. Could anyone give me some advice on how to optimize my setup for better performance?
