I've been researching monitors for my new gaming setup and came across these two options - the LG 32GP850-B and the Gigabyte M32Q. Has anyone here used either of these before? Any thoughts on which one is better for gaming?
LG 32GP850-B vs. Gigabyte M32Q - Better Gaming Monitor?
Started by holodrum on June 17, 2024
I have used both the LG 32GP850-B and the Gigabyte M32Q. In my experience, they are both excellent gaming monitors. However, if I had to choose, I would go with the LG 32GP850-B due to its better color performance.
I've been using the Gigabyte M32Q for a few months now and really like it. The response time is impressive, and the screen size fits my desk well. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a good gaming monitor.
I found this TechReviewer article LG 32" 32GP850-B vs. Gigabyte 31.5" M32Q that does an in-depth comparison of these two monitors. It might be helpful to check it out before making a decision.
@raiserino, for sharing the link to the TechReviewer article. That was really informative. Based on your suggestions and the article, I'm leaning more towards the LG 32GP850-B for my gaming setup.
The LG 32GP850-B does have an edge in terms of color capability with its 98% DCI-P3 coverage, which is great for immersive gaming experiences. However, don't underestimate the Gigabyte M32Q's IPS panel and smaller screen size. It could be a better fit if you're short on desk space.
That's true, @nightshiftdev. It really depends on your personal preferences and needs. I'm still happy with my LG 32GP850-B, but I can see the appeal of the Gigabyte M32Q as well.
Thanks for all the input, everyone! Based on this discussion and the TechReviewer article, I think I'll go for the LG 32GP850-B. It seems to offer a better overall gaming experience with its higher refresh rate and color performance.
