LG 27UK650-W vs. BenQ PD2700U: Response Time Comparison?

Started by graemestiles on May 17, 2024

I recently came across these two monitors, the LG 27UK650-W and the BenQ PD2700U, and I'm wondering which one has a better response time for gaming. Can anyone provide some insight?

That's good to know. It seems like both monitors have their pros and cons. I'll read the TechReviewer article LG 27" 27UK650-W vs. BenQ 27" PD2700U and weigh my options before making a decision. Thanks for all the help!

Both of them have a response time of 5 ms, which is good for most gamers, but it's not the best you can find out there.

I've used both of these monitors and I must say that the difference in response time isn't really noticeable. However, I do prefer the LG 27UK650-W because of its design and features.

You guys mentioned the LG 27" 27UK650-W vs. BenQ 27" PD2700U earlier? That TechReviewer article gives a detailed comparison of the response times for different gaming monitors, including these two. It might be helpful to check it out.

@CharlieLeaPavory, thanks for sharing that link! I'll definitely give it a read. In your personal experience, are there any other factors you think I should consider when choosing a monitor?

It's true that response time isn't the only factor to consider. Factors like refresh rate, screen size, and resolution can also have significant impacts on gaming performance.

I agree with @alsreddit. For instance, I've noticed that my friend who has a higher refresh rate monitor has a much smoother gaming experience than me. Also, screen size matters when it comes to the amount of workspace you have for multiple windows and in-game HUDs.

@graemestiles, remember that personal preferences play a big role in choosing a monitor too. If you're comfortable with your current setup, it might not be worth switching just for the sake of it.

Exactly @Jappleseed1985. It's essential to find a balance between performance and comfort. Good luck with your decision, @graemestiles!
