LG 27GL850-B vs. Asus VG27AQGL1A - Accurate Display?

I'm looking for a new gaming monitor and I'm having trouble deciding between the LG 27GL850-B and the Asus VG27AQGL1A. Can anyone help me out? I've heard that color accuracy is important in gaming, but I don't know which one has better display quality.

They both feature high resolutions (2560 x 1440), IPS panel types, and fast refresh rates (170 Hz for Asus, 144 Hz for LG). However, the Asus VG27AQGL1A has a slightly better color capability (95% DCI-P3 compared to 98% DCI-P3 on LG).

I've been using the Asus VG27AQGL1A monitor for a while now, and it's fantastic! The higher refresh rate makes a huge difference in gaming, especially during fast-paced matches like Apex Legends. The LG 27GL850-B does indeed have an excellent response time of 1 ms, which is great for gaming! It also offers good color accuracy. But if you're looking for a monitor with slightly better color capability, the Asus VG27AQGL1A might be the way to go.

Yeah, I've had a chance to use both monitors recently and they're both fantastic but for different reasons. The Asus's ultra-wide screen is amazing for immersive gameplay, but the LG's color accuracy is unbeatable if you're playing visually rich games. Plus, the LG's smaller size might fit better if your desk space is limited. What games do you mostly play? That might help narrow it down.

I mostly play FPS and MOBA games. The immersive experience seems crucial to me since I often find myself in intense gaming sessions where I need to keep track of a lot of things on the screen at once. Any recommendations?

For the kind of games you're playing, I'd say the Asus VG27AQGL1A would be better suited for you.
