I'm considering getting a new monitor and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the LG 24MP400-B? I've heard some mixed things about it. Is it worth it for gaming?
LG 24MP400-B Gaming Suitability?

Yeah, I've been using one for a while now, and it's worked out great! The refresh rate is 75Hz which is decent for most games.
That's interesting. But isn't the resolution lower than what's recommended for gaming? I thought at least 1920x1080 would be better?
You're right, @Zeberlicious. The resolution is 1920x1080 which might not be ideal for some gamers, but it does have a good refresh rate and response time for casual gaming. There's an article on TechReviewer that discusses this in more detail: Is the LG 24" 24MP400-B Good for Gaming?. It also has an IPS display panel, which is great for color accuracy.
Thanks, @Maya1010! That's really helpful. The response time is 5ms, right? How does that compare to other monitors you've tried?
I haven't noticed any issues with the response time in my games. It feels quite smooth, and the colors are vibrant. However, for more competitive gaming or high-end PCs, a higher resolution might be necessary.
That's good to know, @AlchemistXX. I guess it really depends on what kind of gaming I'm going to do with it. Thanks everyone for your input!
Yeah, it seems like it would work well for my casual gaming setup. Appreciate the advice!
