Same here, @MatryxMercy. I installed the Lexar NQ100 960 GB in my rig last week and it's made a huge difference in game install and update times. You should definitely check out this article though, it goes into some details about its performance: Is the Lexar NQ100 960 GB Good for Gaming?.

Hey @kiwiisland, yeah, it's really great! I've been using one for a couple months now and haven't had any issues at all. The loading times for games are so much faster compared to my old HDD.

Wow, sounds great! So is it mostly the read speed that makes such a big difference? I'm curious how the write speed plays into it as well.

That's a good point, @nancytcollins. From what I've seen so far, both the read and write speeds are crucial for gaming. The faster you can load games and install updates, the more time you have to actually play!

True that, @kiwiisland. And don't forget about the lifespan of the SSD! With all the installing and updating we gamers do, it's important to consider an SSD with a good TBW rating.

Good call, @MatryxMercy. Thanks for the heads up on that. So, would you say the Lexar NQ100 960 GB is worth the investment for gaming purposes?

In my opinion, yes! The improved load times and overall performance make it well worth it for me. I haven't looked back since installing it.
