It works great for me! The TechReviewer article Overview: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB DDR4-4000 CL18 RAM provides an overview of its performance and specifications.
Yeah, I've heard good things about the Trident Z RGB series. How does the effective frequency compare to other options on the market?
Thanks, @tigbits97. The 4000 MHz effective frequency seems pretty impressive. What about latency and memory timings?
I can chime in there. I've used the G.Skill Trident Z RGB for a while now, and it's fantastic! The 9 ns (CL18) latency is quite good.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @LaylaSleep. I'm still curious about memory timings. How do they affect performance in games?
Memory timings can have an impact on performance, but it's not as significant as the effective frequency or capacity. The 18-22-22-42 (CL18) timings of the Trident Z RGB are excellent.
That makes sense, @jacobejacke. I'll probably go ahead and get the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB DDR4-4000 RAM then. Thanks for all the help!
You're welcome, @WavyGravy284. Remember to check your motherboard compatibility before purchasing.
