I'm planning to build a new gaming PC and I'm wondering if 480GB of storage will be enough. Any insights would be helpful!

Hi @fastforwardtonothing! For most games, 480GB should be more than sufficient. However, you might want to consider future expansion.

Yeah, what @ImpressedIndividual said. Plus, you can always upgrade later if needed. But generally speaking, 480GB is plenty for a gaming PC.

Thanks @captainredbeard77! That sounds interesting. How has the performance been, especially for game installation and updates?

@captainredbeard77, have you noticed any significant differences in load times or frame rates with that SSD?

I've heard that 480GB might not be enough if you're into modding games or plan on storing a lot of game files. Just something to think about.

Thanks for all the input! I guess I'll keep an eye out for deals on bigger SSDs just in case. Appreciate it!

No problem, @fastforwardtonothing! Good luck with your build!

Yeah, good luck and happy gaming!

Same here! Good luck!
