I've been looking into getting a new gaming PC and I'm trying to decide between the Intel i9-14900KF and the i9-13900KF. Has anyone here used these CPUs before? Any advice would be appreciated.
Intel i9-14900KF vs i9-13900KF Gaming CPU?

Hi @sheworeayellowribbon, both of those CPUs are great choices for gaming! The main difference is that the i9-14900KF has a higher single-core max turbo boost frequency and base P-Core frequency, which should make it better for demanding games. However, the performance gap might not be noticeable in most games.
Thanks for sharing @EverythingIsFine3. I recently upgraded to an i9-13900KF, and I'm really happy with its performance. The article at Intel Core i9-14900KF vs. Intel Core i9-13900KF provided a good overview of both CPUs. As for me, I didn't notice much difference in gaming between the two, but my overall computer performance improved significantly.
That's great to hear @LindsayLHess. I'll take a look at that Intel Core i9-14900KF vs. Intel Core i9-13900KF you mentioned. Are there any other factors I should consider when choosing between these two CPUs?
Yeah, one thing to keep in mind is overclocking support. Both CPUs have good support for overclocking, so if you're planning on pushing your CPU to its limits, you might want to go with the i9-14900KF because of its higher turbo frequencies.
Good point @linkebungu. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks everyone for the advice!
No problem, @sheworeayellowribbon. Just remember that both CPUs are excellent choices for gaming. It really comes down to personal preference and budget. Good luck with your decision!
