I'm trying to decide between the Intel Core i9-14900KF and the i7-13700KF for my upcoming build, specifically focusing on multi-thread performance. Has anyone had any experience with these two processors? I've seen some reviews that mention the 14900KF has better performance in certain tasks.

Yeah, I've been using the i9-14900KF for a few months now and it's been amazing! The multi-thread performance is definitely top-notch. I'm running some heavy workloads in video editing and rendering and the system hasn't missed a beat.
That's great to hear, @LarsofArcana. I've been looking at the TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-14900KF vs. Intel Core i7-13700KF which compares these two CPUs in detail. According to the article, the i9-14900KF has more cores, threads, and a larger L3 cache. These factors should contribute to better multi-thread performance.
Thanks for sharing that link, @Mitch1008. So it seems like the i9-14900KF is better suited for my needs if I'm going to be doing heavy multitasking or running multiple applications at once. Are there any drawbacks to choosing this CPU?
The only drawback might be the price difference. The i9-14900KF tends to be more expensive than the i7-13700KF. But if you're looking for top-tier performance, I don't think it's a bad investment.
That makes sense, @kenstar9. In that case, I'll probably go with the i9-14900KF. Thanks everyone for your input!
No problem, @rungirlrun. Good luck with your build! And if you have any questions later on, feel free to ask.
