I've been looking into getting a new CPU for gaming. Can you guys help me decide between the Intel Core i9-14900F and i5-13600KF? I know they both have different specifications, but which one is better for gaming?

Hey @Laidy2008, it really depends on your budget and what kind of performance you're looking for. Have you checked out this TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-14900F vs. Intel Core i5-13600KF that compares the two CPUs in detail? It might help you make a decision.
Yeah, I've read that article too, but I'm still not sure which one to choose. Can anyone give me some personal experiences with these processors?
I've been using the i5-13600KF for a while now and it works great for general use and light gaming. But when it comes to heavy-duty gaming, I feel like it could be a bit more powerful.
I recently upgraded to an i9-14900F, and I must say, the performance difference is night and day compared to my old CPU. For gaming, I can run all my games at max settings without any issues, and even with multiple applications running in the background, there's no lag.
That's good to know @poselocke. But isn't the i9-14900F more expensive than the i5-13600KF? I'm trying to stick to a budget, but still want the best performance possible for gaming.
Yeah, the i9 is definitely more expensive. It all comes down to what you can afford and what your priorities are. If you're okay with spending a bit more for better performance, then go for it. Otherwise, the i5 should serve you well too.
I think I'll go for the i5-13600KF since it's within my budget and should still give me decent gaming performance. Thanks everyone for the help!
No problem @Mythonaut9, glad I could get some advice from all of you! Good luck with your new CPU.
You're welcome @Mythonaut9. Remember, it's always good to do thorough research and ask around before making such an important purchase. Have a great time gaming!
Absolutely, happy gaming! And don't forget to check out that TechReviewer article I mentioned earlier if you need more info on these CPUs.
