Hey, I've been looking at the new Intel CPUs and was wondering if anyone has some advice on which one to go for - the Intel Core i9-14900 or the i7-13700K? I'm mainly interested in gaming. Any input would be appreciated!

Good point! The TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-14900 vs. Intel Core i7-13700K does a great job of outlining the differences between these two CPUs and how they perform in various scenarios. It's definitely worth a read if you're still undecided.

I recently upgraded my PC with the i7-13700K, and it's been working great for me in games so far! The performance has been impressive. You can check out this TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-14900 vs. Intel Core i7-13700K that offers a detailed comparison between these two CPUs.

Yeah, both of those CPUs are beasts! But if I had to choose one for gaming, I'd go with the i9-14900. It has a higher single-core max turbo frequency, which can make a big difference in gaming performance.

That's interesting! I've heard that having more cores can be beneficial for some games too. Does anyone have experience with that?

I've been using the i9-14900 and it's definitely impressive. I was particularly interested in how it handled multitasking while gaming. The extra core count really made a difference in that regard.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! So, is there any consensus on which one to choose for gaming?

It really depends on the games you're playing and your specific needs. For example, some games might benefit more from a higher single-core turbo frequency like the i9-14900 offers, while others could be more affected by having more cores like in the i7-13700K.
