Any advice on which CPU is better between the Intel Core i9-13900KS and the Intel Core i7-13700F for gaming? I'm building a new PC and want to know which one would give me an edge in my games.

Both are excellent options, but the i9-13900KS has more core count (24), thread count (32), L3 cache (36 MB), max turbo frequency (6.00 GHz single-core), and base frequency (3.20 GHz). The 13900KS also has better overclocking support and DDR5 with a max stock speed of 5600 MHz.
Here's an interesting article I found on TechReviewer that compares these two CPUs in detail: Intel Core i9-13900KS vs. Intel Core i7-13700F. It might help you make your decision. Also, it depends on the games you play. If you're into fast-paced games or ones with heavy multitasking requirements, the i9-13900KS might have an edge.
@KsGaming2 I appreciate the link! I'm mainly interested in FPS and strategy games like Call of Duty and Starcraft 2. Which one would be better for these?
For the specific games you mentioned, the i9-13900KS could potentially provide a slight advantage due to its higher core count and other specifications. However, both CPUs are excellent choices for gaming.
I've been using an i7-13700F in my PC, and I must say it's fantastic! The performance has been great for all the games I play, including FPS and strategy games like Call of Duty and Starcraft 2. The single-core max turbo boost frequency is excellent as well.
@Imaginebeingamish That's good to know! So you think I won't miss much if I choose the i7-13700F?
@Marghareta It really depends on your budget and needs. Both CPUs are capable of handling those games smoothly. If you're looking for better overall performance, go for the i9-13900KS. But if you have a tighter budget or have other priorities, the i7-13700F is still an excellent choice.
@KsGaming2 Thanks for the advice! I'll check out that TechReviewer article again and make my decision based on it.
