I recently came across the Intel Core i9-13900KS and its specifications seem impressive. I'm considering it for gaming, but I'm not sure if it's worth the investment compared to the i7-13700. Can anyone here share their thoughts on which one would be better for gaming?

Intel Core i9-13900KS vs. Intel Core i7-13700 Here's a detailed comparison of the Intel Core i9-13900KS and i7-13700 on TechReviewer. It covers their specifications and performance in various scenarios including gaming.

Both CPUs have excellent performance, but the i9-13900KS has a higher single-core max turbo boost frequency and more cores, which might give it an edge in some games.

Thanks @HoosierHessian. I'll have a look at that article. Are there any other factors I should consider when choosing between these two CPUs?

Another thing to consider is the cost difference. The i9-13900KS is more expensive, so you have to weigh if the extra performance is worth it for your specific needs.

Good point @fawkesfire. I also want to use the CPU for content creation and streaming. How do these CPUs compare in those areas?

I've used both of them for content creation, and while they're both capable, the i9-13900KS seemed to handle larger projects more efficiently due to its higher core count.

That's interesting @seifersam. I guess it comes down to my budget and what type of workloads I'll be running. Thanks for your input everyone!

The TechReviewer article I mentioned earlier might shed some light on how these CPUs perform in different use cases, so you might want to check that out when making a decision.

Thanks @lucasribeiro21. I'll definitely read the article and see if it can help me make up my mind!

Remember, even with the specs, real-world performance can vary based on other factors like cooling, thermal throttling, and how well the software is optimized for the hardware. Good luck with your decision!

@HoosierHessian Thanks for the reminder! I'll keep all of this in mind when making my choice.
