Anybody have experience with the new Intel Core i9-13900K compared to the older i9-10900K? I'm curious about the gaming performance, especially considering the price difference.

@Mattathon, that's good to know. I think I'll take a closer look at the TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-13900K vs. Intel Core i9-10900K and some benchmarks before making my decision. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I've been using the 13900K for a while now. It's a significant improvement over the 10900K in terms of gaming performance. The higher single-core turbo frequency and additional core count make it an excellent choice if you're looking to future-proof your system. I found this TechReviewer article Intel Core i9-13900K vs. Intel Core i9-10900K really helpful in comparing the two CPUs. Have you checked it out?

Thanks for sharing, @SamuraiShareef. I've been using a 10900K and have noticed some bottlenecks with certain games that require more cores. The higher single-core turbo frequency of the 13900K is enticing, but I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading given the price difference.

Yeah, @MesmerizingHS, I've been thinking about the same thing. It would be nice to have a CPU that can handle more demanding games, but I don't want to spend too much on an upgrade. Any recommendations on how to determine which CPU is right for you?

I think it really comes down to your specific needs and budget, @Greenweaver90. If gaming performance is your priority and you're comfortable with the price of the 13900K, then it's definitely worth considering. On the other hand, if you're on a tight budget or don't need the extra performance, the 10900K should still provide good gaming experience.

I recently upgraded to the 13900K and I'm really happy with my decision. The improved single-core turbo frequency made a noticeable difference in my favorite games. Plus, I've been able to run more demanding applications without any issues. I'd say it's worth the upgrade if you can afford it.

Sounds like a plan, @MesmerizingHS. I'll also check out the article. Hopefully, it can help me make an informed decision.

I hope you both find the information you need. Remember that it's ultimately up to you to decide if the upgrade is worth it based on your preferences and budget. Good luck!
